Priority Points Ticket Scheme
Our points-based ticketing priority scheme was introduced at the start of the 2022/23 season as a result of detailed supporter feedback to ensure that the commitment of those supporters who attend most games is acknowledged by the club, while also honouring the priority status associated with being a season-ticket holder at Argyle.
When tickets go on sale for highly sought-after games, they will be sold in order of points totals, fans holding the most points will be given priority to purchase tickets.
On a discretionary basis for high-profile away fixtures, the Home Park Ticket Office will sell tickets on a points-based system, before the any remaining being sold as usual – going to season-ticket holders as standard, then Evergreen members, and then general sale.
Frequently Asked Questions about the Points Scheme
Yes. Season-ticket holders will maintain priority.
For the majority of away fixtures, season tickets + points will not be required and season-ticket holders will still benefit from first priority, as has been the case in the past.
When points are required, tickets for these games will go on sale first to season-ticket holders with the requisite number of points (number of points required will be announced on a match-by-match basis).
When tickets go on sale for high-demand games, season-ticket holders with the most points will be able to purchase tickets first, before the rest go on sale to season-ticket holders, Evergreen Members and then general sale as they would normally if available.
Therefore, becoming a season-ticket holder, and attending more away matches, will mean that you will have a greater chance of being able to attend the fixtures where there is limited allocation.
Season-ticket holders will automatically receive points for the 23 league fixtures bought.
Tickets purchased for matches will have a points value, whether it is home or away.
Points will automatically be awarded when you purchase a ticket quoting your Supporter ID.
This could be a purchase at the Ticket Office, over the telephone, or online at argyletickets.com
Points will not be awarded for tickets purchased when paying on the day at any away venue.
Points can only be awarded once, so if you are making purchases for other supporters please ensure you assign their details at point of purchase in order for them to be awarded their points.
Each person (must be assigned when booking multiple tickets) will be issued with the following points:
Season-ticket Holders
Season Ticket - 230 points
Matches
Sky Bet Championship Home - 10 points
Sky Bet Championship Away - 10 points
Emirates FA Cup Home or Away - 5 points
Carabao Cup Home or Away - 5 points
Supporters will shortly be able to view their loyalty points online by the “My Account/Booking History” link on your online account at argyletickets.com
Please be aware that we are in the process of adding points to accounts so do not worry if your points total does not contain the 230 / 460 + season ticket allocated points immediately.
At present the points scheme is focused on recognising attendance at matches.
Yes. We would encourage you to do this whenever any of your contact details change as this helps us communicate efficiently with you.
You can change your details in the “Your Account” section on pafc.co.uk
Seasonal hospitality members will be awarded points in the same way as season-ticket holders.
The points are linked to match attendance.
If you buy a hospitality package for only one match your points will be awarded in the same way as they would be if you had gone online and purchased a ticket for the game.
If you purchase hospitality tickets online you will have points added automatically in the same way as regular match tickets. If you are booking by phone please quote your Supporter ID when doing so.
No.
Your points are awarded against your seat (which would be moved to hospitality) for that game so only one allocation of points is assigned.
Disabled supporters will be allocated points in exactly the same way.
The only difference will be that carers (if required) will not be allocated points.
When purchasing tickets for games we are advised on the number of allocated disabled seating tickets that are being made available to us.
The disabled supporter can then apply for these tickets in the same way as other supporters depending on the points they have accumulated.
If there is a game where the points system is required, the club will announce the information on our official website pafc.co.uk.
There may be times when a supporter has the correct number of points to apply for tickets but still may be unsuccessful.
However, the chance of being allocated a ticket is more likely as there will only be a specific amount of supporters applicable.
When the ticket priority system is in place for a specific game and a family member or friend does not have enough points, the family member or friend will have to wait until they are eligible to purchase.
If they do become available for the family member or friend, the Ticket Office will try their utmost to swap the tickets and allocate them together, although this is not always possible due to how we are asked to sell tickets by the home club.
Points will only be allocated once to each supporter (even if they purchase a series of tickets).
In order to get points, tickets must be purchased under an individual Supporter ID.
The Ticket Office cannot retroactively assign or transfer points once the transaction is complete.
The club would recommend that supporters add “Friends & Family” within your account in advance.
The points that supporters accumulate will be on their accounts for two historical seasons plus the current season.
When the third season ends, points accumulated during the first season will be wiped clear.
