Papaioannou - Giota to all – is Argyle’s club captain. The solid and reliable Greek international central defender is a key cog in the Argyle side and a hugely respected member of the squad. 

After joining during the 2018/19 season, and making her debut away to Coventry, Giota joined the elite list of players with 100 appearances in Green, having recently also signed a contract with the club, becoming one of the first Women’s players to do so.
