Argyle signed defensive midfielder Malachi on a permanent transfer from Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian, on the final day of the 2025 January Transfer Window.

The 22-year-old started his career at Crystal Palace and spent time on loan at Queen’s Park and Dundee, prior to joining Hearts in the summer of 2024.

Malachi is the younger brother of former Argyle player, Hiram, who played for the Greens across two loan spells between 2015 and 2016.
