Central midfielder Darko Gyabi joined Argyle on loan in January 2024, from Leeds United, until the end of the  2023/24 season. He played 10 times before picking up an injury in March which ruled him out for the remainder of the campaign. 

In the summer of 2024, he returned to Home Park for a new, season-long loan. 

Born in London, and spending time as a youngster at Millwall, Gyabi advanced through the Manchester City Academy system, moving to Leeds in 2022 as part of the deal that took Kalvin Phillips in the other direction. He is also an England international from under-15 to under-20 level.
