An Eggbuckland Community College student, Taya is a product of the Argyle pathway, and is a former England Under-16 international.

Several key performances for the Under-23s during the 2022/23 season, and a handful of first-team appearances, have enabled Taya to grow in confidence and show her abilities in her third season in the FA Women’s National League. She is predominantly a centre-back, but has shown she is capable of playing at full-back and in midfield.
