Youth Team Fixtures

Argyle’s Academy Under-18 team will once again compete in the EFL Youth Alliance this season.

In 2021/22, Argyle finished a narrow second to Bournemouth in the South West section of the alliance. The Young Pilgrims travelled to the Cherries in the final game, needing a win for the title, but could only manage a 2-2 draw.

Once again, those two teams will meet in the final game of this section of the season.

A high finish in the South West division allows entry into the Merit League in the final part of the season. Last time out, Argyle progressed to the Merit League and finished top of the table.

Darren Way and this season’s crop of under-18s will look to emulate last season’s success, beginning this Saturday away at Cheltenham, the location where the Merit League was clinched in May.
