Whittaker Wins October Player of the Month

Morgan Whittaker has won the CT1 Argyle Player of the Month award for October. 

It marks the second month in a row that Argyle's number 10 has scooped the award, which is voted for by the Green Army. Morgan scored in two games in the month; in the home win against Sheffield Wednesday, and with an absolute pearler away at Ipswich Town. 

Whittaker won the fans' poll with 53.2% of the total vote, ahead of Finn Azaz, Jordan Houghton and Lewis Gibson. 

"It's an amazing feeling to get the award," said Morgan. "To win it twice in two months, especially when it is voted for by the fans, means a lot. Hopefully I can keep the form going, keep playing well and we can get some more wins. 

"The goal against Ipswich is probably a standout goal. Getting the win against Sheffield Wednesday was massive, a 3-0 win at home with the fans behind us."
