Whitmore named Women's POTM for March

Forward Charlotte Whitmore has been voted Argyle Women’s Player of the Month for March.

After scoring at Portman Road in front of nearly 11,000 fans against Ipswich Town, the Argyle number seven picks up her fourth monthly award of the season, so far.

Charlotte won the supporters’ vote with 49% of the poll, ahead of Roxy Thomas (23%), Ella Stephens (18%) and Caitlin Smith (9%).

Whitmore said: “I want to start by saying a massive thank you to my fellow teammates, staff and fans for the continued support this season.

“I am honoured to win this award for the fourth time this year, however, it’s full credit to the people supporting and pushing me to do my best. I look forward to continuing the hard work on Sunday for our last home game of the season at Home Park in front of the Green Army.”
