Vote Jamal For LFE Goal of the Season

Argyle Academy forward Jamal Salawu has been shortlisted for the League Football Education (LFE) Goal of the Season.

With support of the Green Army, Jamal's strike against Forest Green Rovers at Home Park won the LFE Goal of the Month award for May, and is now one of 10 goals nominated for the annual award.

Racing down the left flank to receive the ball on the edge of the box, Jamal struck a searing left-footed effort across the Rovers goalkeeper and into the far corner in the Greens' 4-0 victory. The win proved crucial for Darren Way's side, as they would go on to secure the EFL Youth Alliance Merit League One title the following week.
