Vacancy: Stock Controller

Salary: £16,250

Location: Home Park Stadium, Plymouth, PL2 3DQ

Plymouth Argyle Football Club are looking for a dedicated stock controller to join the busy Venue and Operations department. 

As the club’s Stock Controller, you would be responsible for:

• weekly stock-takes across Hospitality and Concessions at Home Park and Harpers Football Centre. 
• stock ordering.
• auditing discrepancies.
• problem solving and investigating key discrepancies once the stock takes are complete.
• analyse results and present them to the Head of Venue.
• review product sales and use data to inform ordering.
• maintain stock holding at an agreed level for each area of the business.
• report on stock shelf life and key risks, using data generated from stock takes provide advice to department heads of stock holding.
• product viability and use.
• work closely with the Head of Venue and Head of Finance on procurement and financial policies.

The successful candidate will be:

• good at mathematical skills.
• good at IT knowledge including Microsoft systems, EPOS systems.
• ability to report to senior management.
• ability to prioritise workflow.
• good at interpersonal and communication skills. 

The successful candidate will have:

• good knowledge of how a football club operates, specifically on the business side.
• experience in stock management and stock control.
• understanding of EPOS systems.
• knowledge of suppliers, ordering and par levels within a stadium setting.
