VACANCY - ACADEMY AGE GROUP COACH U9-U12
Plymouth Argyle Academy are looking for part-time coaches to join our Academy coaching department in the Foundation Phase (FP). This is an important role coaching our Foundation Phase players at the start of their Academy journey. It is critical that the successful applicant understands player development as well as assisting the club’s aim of developing more home-grown players into the first team.
*Coaches must have completed their UEFA B License & FA Youth Award*
VACANCY - ACADEMY SUPPORT COACH U7-U12
We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and inspiring coaches to join our coaching department. This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic Level 2 (now UEFA C) coaches who are prepared to work towards their UEFA B within 12 months. Applicants would have the opportunity to work with the Pre-Academy and within the Foundation Phase and would be required to work two to three evenings a week and weekends.
*Coaches must have completed their UEFA C / FA Level 2 Coaching License*
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
To plan, deliver and review all coaching sessions and fixtures for the U7-U12 age group in line with the club’s coaching syllabus.
To design and implement Individual Development Plans for all Academy players in the U7-U12 age-groups as well as ensuring that players receive a Performance Review every 6-12 weeks under the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) guidelines.
To ensure the effective use of the Performance Management Application (PMA), Performance Clocks and Audit Tool, including ensuring that all relevant data is recorded for the U7-U12 age-groups.
To liaise closely with the recruitment and Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) to identify and monitor incoming trialists, as well as identify areas of need within each age group.
To integrate into the Academy coaching team and building positive relationship with Academy staff, players and parents.
Attend all club coaching Continuous Professional Development events and external training courses as set out in under the EPPP guidelines.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Experience in coaching within a professional football club.
Experience of working in a fast paced and pressurised environment.
Excellent organisational skills
Team player with the ability to lead and engage where necessary
Positive attitude
Excellent verbal/presentation communication skills
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Ability and willingness to work outside of normal hours including evenings and weekends.
Ability to travel independently
