Under-15s player Jovan Wamani to attend England camp
Argyle Academy player Jovan Wamani has been called up for an England Under-15s Talent Camp at St George’s Park.
Jovan, a strong, athletic and calm defender, will join up with the rest of the selected players on Saturday at the home of England football.
Argyle Academy’s local scouts identified Jovan as a burgeoning talent, with the attributes required to be a player within the pathway.
Phil Stokes, Academy manager, said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Jovan to attend an Under-15s training camp at St George’s Park - it is always pleasing when any of our young players get recognised at international level.
"Jovan continues to develop his game and has made really good progress over the last 12 months - this is a credit to his attitude and application. It is also a testament to the hard work of all the Academy staff and commitment from Jovan’s family.
“This camp will be a tremendous experience for him and one Jovan will learn from. It is great recognition for him and for the football club.”
