Argyle got off to a winning start in the SuperCupNI with a 1-0 victory over Charlton Athletic in Portstewart, Northern Ireland. 

The Greens took the lead early in the first half, with Jared Rendle showing great anticipation to latch onto a loose ball inside the six-yard area and finish from close range. 

The Young Pilgrims, managed by James Bradley, saw the game out well, and will now go into the next two days' games full of confidence. 

On Tuesday, Argyle take on County Fermanagh at Chimney Corner, Antrim, with a 2pm kick-off.
