Soldi On Our Shirts
We are delighted to welcome a new sponsor to the club ahead of Tuesday evening’s Papa Johns Trophy quarter final clash with Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium.
The logo of Soldi Group will adorn the sleeve of the Pilgrims’ shirts as they do battle with the Gas – knowing that a win takes them just one game away from a trip to Wembley Stadium for the final.
Soldi Group, based in Bath, is a development and investment company that undertakes the acquisition, construction and investment of commercial developments across the south of England, and is managed by an Argyle fan who is fulfilling a long held dream to see his business on the Greens’ shirts.
Alex Petheram, Managing Director at Soldi, said: “We are delighted to be the Plymouth Argyle Papa Johns Trophy quarter final shirt sleeve sponsor for Tuesday night against Bristol Rovers.”
Petheram first engaged with Argyle as a sponsor 18 years ago, and is delighted to be back in 2023 with Soldi. He continued: “Being on the shirts has been something I’ve been keen to do since I started watching Argyle play back in 1993 as a kid. Soldi are really proud to be on the kit tonight and we look forward to growing our partnership over the coming seasons.”
Soldi’s sponsorship of the Greens’ shirts for the trip to Rovers means that the club has had a shirt sponsor for every single cup match played in 22/23 across all competitions – demonstrating the growing reach and appeal of the Argyle brand.
