Sofia is Evergreen's 2,000th Member

Evergreen is just three months old and we have already sailed past 2,000 members, thanks to the amazing support and backing of the Green Army. 

The new fans' fund arrived as the spiritual successor to the Big Green Lottery in December, offering a fantastic range of benefits to members, with all proceeds going back into football operations at Home Park. 

Members can choose how their money is invested: First Team, Academy or Sports Science, or a combination of the three, and Evergreen has captured the imagination of supporters, as can be evidenced by the young fan who took us to the 2,000 mark. 

Sofia McGrath is just six years old but already a dedicated Green, along with her dad Josh and the rest of the McGrath family who, as well as now being Evergreen members, are also annual player sponsors of Argyle defender Dan Scarr.  

Little Sofia is member 2,000 and her younger sister Felicity is member 2,001. Sofia sits in Block 8 with mum Tori and dad Josh.  

“I am born and bred in Plymouth, and now delighted my children have also fallen in love with Argyle,” said Josh. “This season has been one of the best I can recall for a long time. 

“There is a general buzz around the club and you can just see that from all the smiling faces at Home Park. We’re certainly enjoying the ride and the family are all looking forward to the Wembley trip. 

“I had been planning to join Evergreen before and only just got around to signing up with the kids. I was previously a member of the Big Green Lottery and showing support for the Argyle Academy was a big motivation for me.  

“The players are fantastic with the supporters and Dan Scarr is Sofia’s favourite player. She loves everything about Argyle and will be thrilled to hear she is Evergreen member 2,000.”
