Sheffield Wednesday pre match show

Argyle will be looking to build on from their strong performance against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, as they take on promotion rivals of last season, Sheffield Wednesday at Home Park.

The main story from Saturday’s game would have undoubtedly been the return of Michael Cooper who was making his first league start since his injury back in February. A good individual performance which capped off a resilient team display will give the pilgrims plenty of confidence going into their game against Wednesday, who are yet to win this season.

New Wednesday head coach Danny Rohl will be hoping to turn things around after suffering defeat in his first game in charge as the Owls lost 1-0 to Watford. Wednesday have suffered their worst start to a season and the worst start to a season in Sky Bet Championship history. Both Rohl and Wednesday will be looking to get their season underway to one of their title rivals last season.
