The defender equalised against Turkey in their UEFA Nations League clash at Gürsel Aksel Stadium, as his side went on to lose 3-1.
Palsson was also an unused substitute in Iceland’s first League B clash of the latest Nations League campaign, a 2-0 win against Montenegro.
Mustapha Bundu played 65 minutes for Sierra Leone as they opened their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with a 0-0 draw against Chad.
The Leone Stars lost 3-2 to Zambia in their second group match, with Bundu not featuring.
Netherlands Under-21s confirmed their place at next year’s U21 European Championship, with comfortable wins over North Macedonia and Georgia.
