Seco Support Team Winners

Seco Secure First at Great British Care Awards

Argyle sponsors, Seco Support, co-founded by former player Marcel Seip, have won the ‘Supported Living Team Award’ at the National Finals of the Great British Care Awards.

At the awards ceremony, presented by Rylan, Seco Support’s central England team claimed top spot as they were rewarded for their dedicated work in their communities.

Seco Support are specialists in 24/7 complex supported living services for people with learning disabilities and/or autism who present with behaviours of concern.
Established in 2018 by friends Simon Cook and Marcel Seip.

Speaking about the award, Marcel said, “This achievement is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and compassion of our team. I couldn't be happier and prouder of their collective efforts in providing exceptional care and support to those in need.”

Marcel had a successful spell at Argyle, playing in over 130 games for the club. Now, Marcel has shown his passion and business acumen outside of football and has gone on to create a specialist support service for children and adults in need.

During the last years of his professional football career, Marcel considered what opportunities he would like to pursue. After careful consideration, Marcel found there was a need for person-centred support. Marcel, with the help of business partner Simon Cook, established Seco Support in 2018.

Whilst offering services nationwide, Marcel has said what sponsoring Argyle means, “Argyle is not just a football club; it’s a symbol of the community’s spirit and ambition.
“We are thrilled to be part of the journey. And personally, for me it’s great to be connected to the Club again.”
