Scarr Wins December Player of the Month

Dan Scarr has been voted by you as your Argyle Player of the Month for December.

The big centre-back won 42.5% of the vote, ahead of Mike Cooper, Niall Ennis and Sam Cosgrove. 

Scarr returned to action in December after six weeks on the sidelines, and played his part in Argyle victories - and clean sheets - against the likes of Cheltenham Town and Wycombe Wanderers. 

Against Wycombe, Dan also scored the game's only goal. It was his first of the season, the first from an Argyle central defender, and the first from a set play. 

Upon receiving the award, Dan said: "Thank you to everyone who voted and has shown support. I’m proud and thankful. I think it a number of lads could have won the award, as everyone contributed to a successful Christmas period. Now let’s push on and build on that momentum."
