Saxon Earley loaned to Lincoln

Saxon Earley has signed a season-long loan deal with Lincoln City.

The left-back is heading to the Imps to pick up precious minutes and experience, following a tough year recovering from injuries.

Michael Skubala’s Lincoln side have started this season with two wins from their opening three games in Sky Bet League One.

Saxon signed for Argyle in January 2023, going on to play 10 times that season, as Argyle won the League One title. Last season, he played twice, including in the second league game of the season, a 0-0 draw at Watford, but was injured shortly afterwards, missing several months.

He was loaned to Wycombe Wanderers during the season, but injury curtailed that spell, too.

Prior to his time at Argyle, Saxon was a Norwich City player, and had a successful loan at Stevenage, in League Two.

Having signed before the midday deadline, Saxon is in line to play for Lincoln on Saturday against, curiously enough, Stevenage.

Good luck, Saxon!
