Roxy's England Call Up

Argyle's Under 14 girls player Roxy Thomas has been called up to the England Under 15s National Talent Camp in August.

This call up represents further excellent progress at the club following the news earlier this year which saw Mari Ward and Mia Endacott both selected to represent their country after trials at the England camp in the Lioness's talent pathway.

Roxy, who attends Eggbuckland Community College, also plays for Devon and Lakeside U15s boys and has been with Argyle for five years.

Argyle's Head of Women & Girls Football, Ryan Perks said: ”I'm delighted with this news as it really highlights the progress we are making with the development of girls football in Plymouth.

“Roxy is a talented footballer, a natural left back who is always composed on the ball and can have a real impact when getting forward"
