Papa Johns Trophy Fixture Postponed

Tuesday night’s Papa Johns Trophy Round of 16 tie against AFC Wimbledon has been postponed due to a frozen pitch at Home Park.

With concerns about the pitch and AFC Wimbledon's travel requirements front of mind, Argyle made contact with the EFL on early on Monday. The EFL sourced an accredited referee to conduct a pitch inspection at 2pm that afternoon, and the official concluded that the surface would not be in a playable condition by kick off on Tuesday evening.

The fixture will now take place at 7pm on Wednesday, 21 December. All tickets held for the initial fixture will be valid for the rescheduled date.

Guests booked for a hospitality experience within Club Argyle for this game will receive an email from the Hospitality & Events team shortly outlining options - including simply transferring their booking to the rearranged date.
