Papa Johns Trophy Draw Details
Argyle will learn their opponents in the final four of the Papa Johns Trophy when the draw for the semi-finals takes place on Saturday afternoon, 14 January.
The draw will take place live on Sky Sports, following the conclusion of the televised Sky Bet Championship game between Rotherham United and Blackburn Rovers, which kicks off at 12.30pm.
Sky’s Michelle Owen will oversee the draw, which will be conducted by Jobi McAnuff and former Argyle forward Jamie Mackie.
Argyle are ball number 4 in the draw, which comprises four League One sides: Accrington Stanley, who advanced following a penalty shoot-out decider over Lincoln City on Tuesday night, are ball number 1; Bolton Wanderers, who beat Portsmouth 1-0 in the week, are number 2; and Cheltenham Town, 3-1 winners against Salford City, are ball number 3.
The semi-finals are not regionalised, and are decided by a one-legged tie, which is scheduled to take place in the week commencing 20 February. Both semis will be televised live by Sky Sports.
