Oscar Halls to play for Argyle at TST

Former Argyle defender Oscar Halls is the next player to commit to this summer’s TST (The Soccer Tournament) event in Cary, North Carolina.

Halls made his professional debut for Argyle in the EFL Trophy against Bristol Rovers in 2022, going on to make six appearances in the competition.

The 20-year-old left the Pilgrims in the summer of 2024, and immediately headed Stateside to join Loyola University Greyhounds on a college scholarship.

Excited to pull on an Argyle shirt once again in the country he now calls home, Halls commented: “I can’t wait to represent Argyle again this summer in North Carolina.

“I have seen first-hand how much soccer is growing in the US during my time here and TST looks like an exciting tournament capturing the imagination in America.

“It’s great that Argyle are looking to expand globally, and I am really excited to be a part of the journey.”

The event takes place at WakeMed Soccer Park from 4 to 9 June, with the likes of Villarreal, Borussia Dortmund and AFC Bournemouth also competing.
