New Date for Bolton Trip

Argyle’s away trip to Bolton Wanderers will now take place on Saturday, 7 January, at 3pm.

The Pilgrims were originally scheduled to travel to the University of Bolton Stadium on Saturday, 25 March, but with both Argyle and Bolton out of the Emirates FA Cup, and the respective clubs’ intended opponents on third round day still engaged in the competition, the game has been brought forward.

In addition, the original March date falls on an international weekend, and given significant likelihood of a postponement due to international call-ups, as well as limited scope to rearrange the fixture after that date, the decision has been agreed by all parties to move the game to January.
