Neil Warnock: Are You With Me? Live at Home Park Stadium
Record-breaking former Argyle manager Neil Warnock will return to Home Park Stadium for a first-of-its-kind stadium event on Sunday, 11 June.
Neil, who has returned to reside in the South West following retirement from a storied and incredible career in management, is bringing his Are You With Me tour to the Theatre of Greens – where he won promotion in 1996.
Join Warnock in the stands at Home Park as he walks you through his unique and astonishing career, in front of a live audience for the first time.
A spell at Argyle between 1995 and 1997 - which included the club’s only winning trip to Wembley Stadium in the Division Three play-off final – contributed to a record number of games as a manager, 16 clubs and eight promotions, from non-league to Premier League and a thousand stories along the way that have never been told.
No holds barred, delivered in Neil’s unique and imitable style with stories that will make you laugh, cry, gasp and laugh again.
Hear about Neil’s early career as a player in the lower leagues, making over 300 appearances, and what inspired and drove him on to succeed and reach the highest level in management.
As part of the evening, Neil will, of course, be looking back on his wonderful time at Home Park, a stadium he visits regularly, reminiscing on promotion glory -including that remarkable play off semi-final where he joined fans on the terraces to watch the game! He will also reflect on the club’s first ever trip to Wembley, and the shock at how his time at Argyle ended.
Guests will also be able to watch footage with Neil of some of the highlights and lowlights of his remarkable 40-year management career on the Big Screen inside Home Park.
Moving on from his spell at Argyle, guests will be given the inside story behind all the explosive moments and controversial incidents in Warnock’s career, as well as Neil’s thoughts about pitting his wits against some of the game’s most decorated managers, including Sir Alex Ferguson, Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho and Jurgen Klopp.
Of course, a night with Warnock would not be complete without hearing one or two things he has to say about referees…
