Mia Endacott Called Up for England Under-17's MIMA Cup finals
Argyle Women forward Mia Endacott has been selected to join up with the England Lionesses Under-17's for the 2024 MIMA Cup to be held in Spain next month.
The young Lionesses are set to take on the Netherlands in a friendly ahead of their opening fixture of the MIMA Cup, a semi-final against the Philippines at the Pinatar Arena in San Pedro del Pintar. The winners will advance to the final of the competition on Thursday, 8 February.
Since signing for The Pilgrims in September 2023, forward Mia has gone on to make 10 appearances for Ryan Perks’ side, scoring three goals in total, one of which opened the scoring in Argyle’s 13-0 win over Ilminster Town Ladies at Home Park Stadium in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.
Women’s First Team Manager Ryan Perks is delighted with Mia’s progress and impact on the team and couldn’t be prouder of the 16-year-old's achievements so far.
“It’s great for Mia to receive this call up again, she’s started to settle in with the first team and has put in some very good performances and played out of position on a few occasions to help the team when needed.
"I think we will start to see the best of Mia in the second half of the season and hopefully this call up gives her another boost of confidence.”
Everyone at Argyle wishes Mia and the team the very best of luck in this tournament and congratulates her on her selection in the squad.
