Leeds United (H) | Randell's Preview
Argyle and Leeds United have become accustomed to each other over the past few months, with this the third meeting between the sides in the last three weeks, and second in 11 days.
Adam Randell scored the goal that earned Argyle an Emirates FA Cup replay at the end of January, and heads into the latest battle between the sides full of confidence after a player-of-the-match performance on Wednesday night against Coventry City.
"It feels like we play them every game at the moment," he said. "We are looking forward to going up against them again and hoping we can get one over on them.
"You never know what they are going to throw at you, and they may make a few changes from the FA Cup sides, but we are probably in as good a place as we could be going into the game."
The visitors are in fine form, having achieved seven consecutive Sky Bet Championship wins, and Randell is well aware of the threats and challenge they will pose tomorrow lunchtime.
"They obviously have a squad of top quality players all over the pitch," he said. "They are the sort of side that don't have many weak spots. You can't target any individual players particularly as they are all good players.
"But, we take great heart from the way we have played against them recently. We have been able to limit them to minimal opportunities and stopped them from being able to create clear goalscoring chances.
"We have also not been afraid to get forward and get at them, and not show them too much respect. We want to show them what we can do and are there to attack them and showcase how good we are as well."
Saturday's match is live on Sky Sports, kicking off at 12.30pm, but Randell sees it as just another game, and an opportunity to use the raucous Home Park crowd to Argyle's advantage, once again.
Randell concluded: "I am looking forward to it just as much as any game this season. We love playing at Home Park in front of the fans, and we know it will be loud tomorrow, as it always is.
"I can't wait to get out there and hopefully get a positive result to keep us moving in the right direction."
