Home Park Open Training on 20 August
We are throwing open the doors of Home Park on Tuesday, 20 August, for a special Open Training Day.
Wayne Rooney’s Pilgrims will hold that day’s workout session on the Home Park pitch, with the Green Army able to see what goes into training for a Sky Bet Championship side.
There will also be a host of other events going on during the morning and early afternoon, with the whole event being presented completely free of charge.
Supporters will need a ticket to attend. These are free and must be booked either via the Home Park Ticket Office in advance, or online at ArgyleTickets.com. There is no booking fee. Tickets for this event are digital only. Under-14s must be accompanied by an adult.
The day will begin with the Mayflower Fan Zone being opened for a range of family activities, such as Giant Jenga, 3v3 football, dodgeball, pop-up tennis, golf putting and more. Pilgrim Pete will be around to oversee proceedings, along with his friends from the Argyle Community Trust.
Club Argyle members can gain access to the stadium from 9.30am and will have unreserved seating in the Beacon Electrical Mayflower Grandstand Lower.
From 9.45am, the Portcullis Legals Lyndhurst Stand will open, with supporters able to take their spots in blocks 8-15. Refreshment kiosks under the stand will be open.
The training session is scheduled to last from approximately 10.40am to 12.15pm. After training, the players and staff will be available at pitchside for autographs and selfies.
Evergreen members will be offered a special treat, as up to 250 members who have booked a ticket to attend the open training day will be selected at random to join us in Club Argyle for an exclusive signing session with the players and coaching staff following the conclusion of training, and after the players’ lunch.
To be one of the successful 250, you must have booked your ticket by 5pm on Wednesday, 14 August. Successful members will receive an email from our Evergreen team, who will advise on logistics and timings.
