Fans' Guide | Sutton (H)
Argyle are in Emirates FA Cup action this weekend and welcome Sutton United to Home Park for the first ever meeting between the two sides.
The Green Army have seen some memorable encounters at Home Park this season, and Saturday's third round tie is expected to be no different.
A close to sell-out crowd is expected and all those in attendance can find out the information they need with our Fans' Guide below.
Fans' Guide | Sutton (H)
Following feedback from Monday's Sky Bet Championship match against Watford, we felt it necessary to further explain some of the extra measures put in place in the Babcock Devonport End.
At the Birmingham City match the club was reported for throwing missiles from the Devonport End. We understand the circumstances around this, however breaches of ground regulations are taken extremely seriously by the FA and EFL.
This is also not the first time this has happened this season and any action taken could result in the club receiving a hefty fine.
As part of our response to the FA to mitigate the issue, we decanted drinks for the game against Watford in the Devonport End only. As a result, no missiles were thrown in the direction of the pitch.
For Saturday's game against Sutton United we will now go back to normal procedures, pre-Monday's game, and thank supporters for working with the club to stop this happening. If further incidents do happen again though, similar measures may have to be implemented in the future.
We ask for supporters to adhere to the various safety rules inside the ground to ensure that all of the Green Army have a safe and memorable match day.
Argyle fans should be aware that gates will now open from 90 minutes before kick off for the rest of the season.
The same amenities will be available to the Green Army as previously, gates will just open 30 minutes later than previously.
Plymouth Argyle recognises the importance of, and is committed to, minimising our environmental footprint. A key aspect of the club’s environmental plan is to make travel to and from Home Park on match-days sustainable, by making public transport options as accessible as possible, and by supporting and encouraging supporters to use transport options with the lowest environmental impact.
To see how you can support us with this and for all the information you need to make your travel arrangements as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible, please see our travel guide, here.
Outland Road Car Park, adjacent to Home Park is a very large – and free! – car park. It is council-run, and is typically a park-and-ride car park into the city. It is free to use on match-days, but will obviously begin to fill up very early for many fixtures, especially local derbies, Bank Holiday fixtures, etc.
Additional street parking is available surrounding Home Park, but please be mindful of local residents, park sensibly, and be aware of any parking restrictions and permit areas. Considerations should include:
- Don’t park on double yellow lines
- Please avoid dropped kerbs in front of people’s houses
- Please avoid parking on junctions
- Please display a blue badge if you have one
There are also several large pay and display car parks in the city centre, which is within walking distance of Home Park, but not advised for those who struggle to walk beyond short distances.
Copies of our award-winning matchday programme, The Pilgrim, are once again available around the stadium for purchase at £3.50, while a limited number will also be available to purchase from the Argyle Superstore.
Our 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship programme subscription service is also available for sign ups.
The popular subscription service will be the only way supporters can guarantee that they receive a copy of The Pilgrim, for each and every home game this season.
The subscription model offers both home delivery and click and collect options, allowing supporters to select the most efficient delivery method for their circumstances.
Please note that the subscription is only available for the Pilgrims’ 2023/24 league fixtures, and cup programmes will be available to purchase from the Argyle Superstore and online.
Click here to subscribe to our match-day programme.
For any accessibility or match-day support queries, our dedicated Disability Liaison Officer can be contacted on disability@pafc.co.uk.
Supporters should be prepared to be searched by our security team as they enter the stadium.
Wherever possible, we will ensure that 'wand' searches are also undertaken by members of the same gender. If that is not the case upon entry, and you feel at all uncomfortable, please raise this with a member of the security team - who will make the necessary arrangements.
As with all major sporting events, bringing bags to the stadium is actively discouraged. However, fans arriving at Home Park with a small personal bag (for example, medical bags or handbags) capable of being stowed under seats is permitted. Please note, supporters should expect this to be searched before entry.
We ask that supporters arrive in plenty of time to avoid queues forming as kick-off approaches.
The Argyle Superstore, located next to the Home Park Ticket Office by the main entrance to the Mayflower Grandstand, is open until 30 minutes after full-time.
The Evergreen Suite, adjacent to the Home Park Ticket Office, is open ahead of the game.
Not signed up as an Evergreen member yet? No problem, you can speak to our dedicated supporter engagement team to find out more.
Members of the team will be on hand to share more detail about the scheme, which sees members contribute directly to funding projects within the club's first-team and Academy operations, and help supporters sign up, if they would like to.

'It' is racism, homophobia, sexism and misogny, sexual harassment, ableism, ageism and religious beliefs.
Sensory packs, which include a drawstring bag, ear defenders, fidget spinners, and a sensory ball, as well as further match-day information, are now available for children and young adults who need them – free of charge.
Complimentary sanitary products are available in all female and accessible toilets across Home Park Stadium.
Argyle are intent on providing a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors who attend matches.
Following news Argyle had purchased the ice arena land, now known as the Mayflower Quarter, earlier in the year, work has been underway to convert the space into a new Fan Zone to continue improving the match day experience for the Green Army.
This new Fan Zone opened from last Monday's Sky Bet Championship game against Watford.
This will be on an initial pilot basis as works are still to be fully completed, but an array of food and drink stalls will be on offer to provide fans with a further range of options.
In partnership with C&G Catering, extensive research has taken place to ensure the Fan Zone caters for all needs, and along with a differing food and drink option, soon live sport will be available on a big screen and live music will also be on offer.
Covered areas will also be available to avoid any potential inclement weather.
Argyle Community Trust family activities will also be located there moving forward, while pre-match the area will be available to everyone.
At half-time, Beacon Electrical Mayflower Grandstand ticket holders will also be able to gain access to further complement the food and drink offering during the mid-game interval.
We ask fans to remain patient while works are completed with this anticipated for the home game against Cardiff City on 20 January 2024.
A traffic management system will be in place this weekend on Jack Leslie Way.
With a number of events taking place in the area, the traffic management system will ensure a consistent through flow in the surrounding area of the stadium.
Further parking has been made available for Argyle fans for all home matches until the end of the season through event parking partner, Big Parking.
At least three car parks will be open within one mile of Home Park offering 500 spaces available in total. This pre-book option will also include the club's Harpers Football Centre Site. Car Parking starts at £10 per vehicle and can be purchased here or by calling 02476 997605.
Car parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis and will be available to purchase at least four weeks before the match. Argyle fans are encouraged to book car parking spaces directly.
Any supporters requiring Accessible parking are advised to still contact the club direct.
Please be aware of road closures around the Stadium on a match day to further protect the safety of supporters. All of the Big Parking car parks are located outside of the road closure zone so your access and departure will not be affected by these measures.
Car parks will be open from three hours before kick off and will close one hour after the final whistle. To book spaces please click here.
Four football special bus services will operate for the game against Sutton United.
Supporters should note that the PA1 service from Saltash has now been discontinued due to poor uptake.
Thanks to PASOTI for their continued support in providing this service.
Supporters unable to attend Saturday's Emirates FA Cup Third Round clash at home to Sutton United will be able to listen to live audio commentary from Home Park on Argyle TV.
Current regulations prevent video streaming of this fixture, whilst the sale of individual match audio passes is also prohibited.
Therefore, the only way to follow the action live, without being at the game is to subscribe to Argyle TV.
