Argyle welcome Swansea City to Home Park tomorrow night looking to extend a home unbeaten run that stretches back to September.

Despite their strong form in PL2, though, the Greens suffered heavy away defeats at Norwich City and Bristol City recently, while Saturday's game against Oxford United was postponed.

Ticket Exchange is also available through our ticketing partner Ticketmaster, and this gives season ticket holders the ability to sell their designated seat at face value to other supporters for any Sky Bet Championship home fixture that they are unable to attend, irrespective of whether a match is sold out or not.

Season ticket holders will have until three hours prior to kick-off to repost their tickets. If they sell, then their ticket account will be credited with the respective value, as per the table below.  

This can then be used against payment for league games, away travel and on season tickets.

Project 35 dedicated fixture

Argyle’s Sky Bet Championship match against Swansea City tomorrow night, has been selected as the second dedicated Project 35 fixture of the 2024/25 season.

We started our Project 35 fixtures for this season with a bang against Sunderland back in September. Not only did Wayne Rooney’s Greens secure a massive three points against the Black Cats, but we also smashed some of our previous records.

1,600 items of food and essentials were donated to the Project 35 gazebo before kick-off, accompanied by a record £1,425.50 collection from our amazing volunteers and through the JustGiving page.

Your donations will help provide essential support for people facing food insecurity all year round through the Manadon Food Larder and we cannot thank you enough.

Thanks to the unending generosity of the Green Army, our previous campaigns have reaped nothing but success.  

From our first Project 35 fixture back in League One against Shrewsbury Town to September’s Championship thriller against Sunderland, a mind-blowing 7.6 tonnes of produce and £4,080.50 has been donated to aid the battle against food poverty in Plymouth, Devon, and Cornwall.

Both this season and last, you have shown that your support means no end – but the fight doesn’t stop here.

For our home fixture against Swansea on 10 December, we are calling on your Christmas cheer to help us rally and go even further.

We encourage supporters and members of our community to bring items of in-date, non-perishable food to Home Park.

We will be collecting items before the game from the Babcock Devonport End, where our food van and Project 35 gazebo will be located from 5pm until kick-off. Pledge 35 volunteers, Ginsters staff, and Trust staff will be on hand to support collections and chat more about the wider aims of the project.

Food poverty is a problem that affects people 365 days a year, yet the Christmas period can pose an extra level of stress for those facing food insecurity.

Any donation, whether that be food or currency, really makes a difference and it could help to make someone’s Christmas that bit less stressful.

Fan Behaviour

Supporters are reminded about the importance of adhering to ground regulations.

These include pitch incursions, the use of pyrotechnics and missile throwing, as well as any form of discriminatory behaviour towards players on the pitch, staff or your fellow supporters. 

Fans from both clubs are also reminded that persistent standing throughout Home Park is not accepted and supporters will be told to take their seats throughout the game. 

Reminder to supporters

Ahead of our return to Home Park Stadium this weekend, we wanted to remind fans of the importance of not throwing objects onto the field of play.

The Football Association have noted that following Argyle’s late equaliser against Watford, a full bottle was thrown into the penalty area from behind the home goal towards the opposition players.

While we understand the elation we all felt following Andre Gray’s late goal, we must remind the Green Army that this is not acceptable. Objects or missiles thrown towards the field of play could cause serious injury or harm.

In certain parts of the stadium for the next two fixtures, and for future higher risk fixtures, we will be making some changes to how drinks are served in order to ensure this does not happen again, including the removal of lids on entry.

Argyle fans should be aware that gates open 90 minutes before kick off.

Travel Guide

Plymouth Argyle recognises the importance of, and is committed to, minimising our environmental footprint. A key aspect of the club’s environmental plan is to make travel to and from Home Park on match days sustainable, by making public transport options as accessible as possible, and by supporting and encouraging supporters to use transport options with the lowest environmental impact.

Parking

Outland Road Car Park, adjacent to Home Park is a very large – and free! – car park. It is council-run, and is typically a park-and-ride car park into the city. It is free to use on match days, but will obviously begin to fill up very early for many fixtures, especially local derbies, Bank Holiday fixtures, etc.

Additional street parking is available surrounding Home Park, but please be mindful of local residents, park sensibly, and be aware of any parking restrictions and permit areas. Considerations should include:

  • Don’t park on double yellow lines
  • Please avoid dropped kerbs in front of people’s houses
  • Please avoid parking on junctions
  • Please display a blue badge if you have one

There are also several large pay and display car parks in the city centre, which is within walking distance of Home Park, but not advised for those who struggle to walk beyond short distances.

Parking is once again available through our official event parking supplier, Big Parking. Cars cost £10 with full details available here.

Food and Drink

Food and drink options will be available around Home Park on match days.

Following fan feedback and support from Bidfood and St Austell Brewery, we have reduced food and drink prices around Home Park.

These prices will be in place for the duration of the Sky Bet Championship season.

The price reductions will see an average reduction of 25% across all products and, as a result, the early stadium entry food and drink discount period will no longer be available. The club will be looking to add new offers for early attendees across the coming months.

Half-Time Challenge

The 2024/25 season sees the introduction of a new half-time challenge pitting an Argyle fan against an away supporter.

The two fans will be selected from the crowd and take three shots from different areas of the pitch. 

The supporter to score the most will be the winner, and will take home a prize from club sponsors Beacon Electrical. 

Match Day Programme

Argyle’s match day programme, The Pilgrim, is back for 2024/25 and is packed with new features for our second Sky Bet Championship season in succession.  

The Pilgrim will feature exclusive interviews and articles not found elsewhere, and will focus on historical and archive features, as well as looking at the current squads of the men’s, women’s and Academy sides at Argyle.  

Programmes will be available to purchase for £3.50 from around the Theatre of Greens, via programme sellers, in food kiosks, and in the Argyle Superstore, on match days.  

A small selection of programmes will also be signed by this week's cover star Mustapha Bundu and scattered around the ground to purchase. 

Accessibility

For any accessibility or match day support queries, our dedicated Disability Liaison Officer can be contacted on disability@pafc.co.uk.

Security

Supporters should be prepared to be searched by our security team as they enter the stadium.

Wherever possible, we will ensure that 'wand' searches are also undertaken by members of the same gender. If that is not the case upon entry, and you feel at all uncomfortable, please raise this with a member of the security team - who will make the necessary arrangements.

As with all major sporting events, bringing bags to the stadium is actively discouraged. However, fans arriving at Home Park with a small personal bag (for example, medical bags or handbags) capable of being stowed under seats is permitted. Please note, supporters should expect this to be searched before entry.

We ask that supporters arrive in plenty of time to avoid queues forming as kick-off approaches.

Argyle Superstore

The Argyle Superstore, located next to the Home Park Ticket Office by the main entrance to the Beacon Electrical Mayflower Grandstand, will be open ahead of kick-off.

Evergreen

The Evergreen Suite, adjacent to the Home Park Ticket Office, is open ahead of the game.

Members of the team will be on hand to share more details about the scheme, which sees members contribute directly to funding the past, present and future of Argyle, and help supporters sign up, if they would like to.

Sensory Packs

Sensory packs, which include a drawstring bag, ear defenders, fidget spinners, and a sensory ball, as well as further match day information, are now available for children and young adults who need them – free of charge.

Complimentary Sanitary Products

Complimentary sanitary products are available in all female and accessible toilets across Home Park.

Argyle are intent on providing a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors who attend matches.

Match Day Bus Services

Our dedicated match-day football special bus services, in conjunction with Plymouth Citybus, are running again in the 2024/25 season for all home league matches. 

The services will operate across four routes (Coypool Park and Ride, The George Park and Ride, Plympton and Plymstock), with the Coypool and George services once again running two trips to Home Park pre-match, while the Plympton and Plymstock services will run once.  

Following successful trials in 2023/24, the continuation of these services showcases a demonstrable commitment to the club’s environmental objectives and ambitions to reduce the overall collective carbon footprint of supporters travelling to Home Park on match days, while also serving to reduce traffic congestion and demand for parking at the ground and in nearby residential streets. 

The services will run across all home league matches. Arrangements for cup games will be confirmed on a match-by-match basis.  

Supporters should be aware that there are some changes to the timings for 24/25, following feedback received across last season. We encourage supporters to continue feeding back regarding their experiences on these buses, and further adjustments can be made if necessary.

For 8pm kick-offs, please use the timetable for a 7.45pm kick off and add 15 minutes to each time. 

Tickets are available to purchase in advance through Citybus directly, through their app. Tickets can also be purchased on the bus on the day, but purchasing in advance is highly recommended as we cannot guarantee there will be availability remaining on the buses on the day. 

Single fares are also available (subject to availability) and can be purchased on the buses on the day only. Single fares cannot be purchased in advance or through the CItybus app. Please note that priority will be given to those who have purchased a return ticket and should the bus have reached capacity through advance sales of return tickets, no single tickets will be available. 

As this is a dedicated football service, supporters should note that bus passes and other concessions will not apply, and a ticket will need to be purchased to travel.

Fan Zone

The Fan Zone, located on the Mayflower Quarter, between Home Park and the Life Centre, will be open once again for the visit of Swansea City. It will open three hours before kick-off. 

Argyle Community Trust will have a number of activities on offer for all the family to enjoy, while their Pizza Truck will also be in operation.

At half-time, Beacon Electrical Mayflower Grandstand ticket holders will also be able to gain access to further complement the food and drink offering during the interval. 

Pilgrim Pete will be wandering around the stadium ahead of kick-off giving out lunch boxes in the Fan Zone and pitchside.

Face painting will also take place in the Fan Zone from 5.30pm to 7pm. 

Live music will also be on offer, with Eat The Rich providing pre-match tunes from 5.30pm until 7pm. 

Parking Restrictions

There are extra parking enforcements in place for this game. Fans' are encouraged to avoid parking on the following roads:

- Browning Road
- Ponsonby Road
- St Levan Road
- Fullerton Road
- Beaumont Road

St Luke's Sparksy Legacy Scheme

Our St Luke's Sparksy Legacy Scheme will continue for this season, which sees a patient of St Luke's Hospice gifted an experience at an Argyle home game.

Dan and Luke will receive food and drink and be able to watch The Pilgrims in action from the PLG Consultants branded viewing platform in the Beacon Electrical Lower Mayflower. 

Player Signatures

100 members of the Green Army will be allowed to make their way towards the players' car park area to get autographs upon Argyle's arrival at the stadium. 

Numbers have been limited to ensure supporter safety with a number of vehicles passing through this area ahead of kick off.

Warm up safety

We wanted to remind members of the Green Army of the importance of keeping yellow hatched areas free from supporters.

The yellow hatched areas throughout the stadium are designed to be kept clear for safety reasons and to also provide accessible viewing. 

While we are aware and appreciate people want to stand at the front to watch the warm-up, it is limiting the spectator experience for those in wheelchairs who then cannot see.

Stewards throughout Home Park Stadium will be asked the clear the walkways to ensure every member of the Green Army has the same opportunity to view the players undergo their preparations. 

Supporters are asked to watch the warm-ups from their seats, respecting the wishes of all fans.

Persistent Standing

Following dialogue with the Sports Ground Safety Authority (SGSA), Argyle would like to remind supporters of the importance of avoiding lengthy periods of persistent standing during matches at Home Park. 

By ‘persistent’ the Club means when individuals are standing in seated areas for prolonged periods of time other than for short durations in periods of play where it could be deemed unnatural to remain seated.

Standing in areas that are designed for seated accommodation can be dangerous, but can also impact the experience of your fellow Argyle supporters around you. The Club is intent on providing the best possible matchday experience for the whole Green Army and persistent standing has an impact on fans throughout Home Park and their viewing, but also their general experience.

Argyle are currently exploring the feasibility of implementing safe standing at Home Park, but for the foreseeable future we have to ensure we are complying with regulations.

We ask all supporters to work with us in adhering to the licence conditions of the ground. If we cannot address this situation and show improvement then it is likely that the club will be forced to impose, or have imposed, stricter measures, including a potential capacity reduction. 

Similar measures have been imposed at other stadiums previously and it is likely that others will also find themselves in the same situation as ourselves during the 24/25 season.

The Club have reminded supporters several times of the impact persistent standing has on those around them. Stewards will now be instructed to direct Argyle fans to take their seat during matches, and we would encourage said supporters to comply with their instructions for the benefit of those around them. Should instructions not be adhered to, the Club may have to take further action moving forward.
