Sync Argyle fixtures to your phone

The Greens take on Crystal Palace under-21s on Tuesday night, knowing that a draw or better will guarantee progress to the next stage of the Papa Johns Trophy for the first time since the competition changed format in 2015.

Steven Schumacher's side sit top of Group M, having beaten Bristol Rovers on penalties after a 1-1 draw and a 3-1 win at Swindon Town. Palace can also progress with a win, or a draw and a penalty shoot-out victory, if Bristol Rovers lose to Swindon.

Please note that kick off is 7pm.

Black armbands for Sparksy

Black armbands will be worn to mark the passing of commentary legend Gordon Sparks over the weekend.

Further tributes will be paid to Sparksy on social media, Argyle TV, and the Big Screen.

The club has taken the decision to pay full tribute to Gordon and his remarkable career during our Sky Bet League One fixture against Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday, 25 October.

Gordon gave us so many cherished memories, and it is only right that tribute should be paid in a full stadium.

In the meantime, supporters can read our tribute to a man who will go down in Argyle folklore here.

Don't cross the line

We are once again urging supporters not to cross the line in their support of Argyle.

There can be no doubting the commitment, noise, and incredible levels of support from the Green Army towards Steven Schumacher and his table-topping side this season, and we thank you for your continued support and co-operation.

The fans have played a huge part in the club’s incredibly strong start to the season, but an extremely small minority of supporters’ behaviour threatens our progress – on and off the field.

The club has written to supporters following previous reports of anti-social behaviour at away fixtures this season, and so we were extremely disappointed to learn that the referee’s report from the Sheffield Wednesday fixture reported that coins were thrown towards opposition goalkeeper David Stockdale from the Devonport End in the second half, as well as bottles thrown onto the pitch during the celebrations of Cosgrove’s winner.

The club takes no joy in producing these types of communications to supporters, and we have no desire to continue doing so. However, we must also acknowledge the seriousness of the situation, with Argyle subject to unlimited fines or a potential capacity reduction if the FA considers the club’s response to such behaviour unsatisfactory.

Argyle’s ambition is to become a sustainable Championship club, respected in the South West and beyond. Careless behaviour from overzealous supporters places that mission at risk.

The implications of receiving a fine impact upon our ability to fund a competitive first team, or invest in further improvements to the supporter experience at Home Park. Perhaps more significant is the prospect of a reduction in capacity at Home Park – particularly while attendances are regularly reaching close to capacity – which could have huge ramifications for both the match-day atmosphere and the club’s finances.

Argyle manager Steven Schumacher knows how vital the support is for the team this season, and is under no illusion of the potential consequences for the club. Speaking during the press conference ahead of the Sky Bet League One visit of Accrington Stanley, he said: “I spoke to Zac [Newton, Club Secretary] and he made me aware that we’ve had a couple of warnings about our fan behaviour. I just feel it’s important that we get that balance right where it’s not an easy place to come – we want to make it hard for teams – but we can’t step over the line with fan behaviour.

“What that can result in is reduced stadium capacity, which we don’t want, and potentially a big fine, affects the playing budget. Everyone just needs to be mindful of that situation as well.”

See something. Say something.

If supporters see anything unusual during their visit to Home Park, we encourage you to make use of our anonymous reporting service.

Security

Supporters should be prepared to be searched by our security team as they enter the stadium.

Wherever possible, we will ensure that 'wand' searches are also undertaken by members of the same gender. If that is not the case upon entry, and you feel at all uncomfortable, please raise this with a member of the security team - who will make the necessary arrangements.

As with all major sporting events, bringing bags to the stadium is actively discouraged. However, fans arriving at Home Park with a small personal bag (for example, medical bags or handbags) capable of being stowed under seats is permitted. Please note, supporters should expect this to be searched before entry.

We ask that supporters arrive in plenty of time to avoid queues forming as kick-off approaches.

Argyle TV

A reminder that supporters can tune in to our free pre-match show live, and the game is available to stream live and worldwide on Argyle TV.

Whether you are in the stands at Home Park, on the way to the game, or watching from home, simply go to our YouTube channel from 6pm to enjoy live build-up featuring The Athletic's Richard Amofa and Argyle TV's Charlie Price, as well as former Argyle Women captain Katie Middleton.

Live video streaming is available worldwide for this game. Click here to purchase your pass.

Parking

Outland Road Car Park, adjacent to Home Park is a very large – and free! – car park. It is council-run, and is typically a park-and-ride car park into the city. It is free to use on match-days, but will obviously begin to fill up very early for many fixtures, especially local derbies, Bank Holiday fixtures, etc.

Additional street parking is available surrounding Home Park, but please be mindful of local residents, park sensibly, and be aware of any parking restrictions and permit areas.

There are also several large pay and display car parks in the city centre, which is within walking distance of Home Park, but not advised for those who struggle to walk beyond short distances.

Where can I purchase souvenirs?

The Argyle Superstore, located next to the Home Park Ticket Office by the main entrance to the Mayflower Grandstand, is open up until kick off.

Feedback

As always, we encourage supporters to provide feedback on their experience at Argyle to feedback@pafc.co.uk.

We can’t wait to see you on Tuesday, and hope you have a fantastic match-day experience at Home Park.
