An Evening with Mike Ingham
Former BBC Chief Football Correspondent and Argyle season ticket holder Mike Ingham will join the Argyle Archive for an illuminating evening at the Green Taverners Suite next month.
Doors open at 7pm on Friday, 18 March for an evening of Mike's stories and experiences from a career behind the microphone before opening the floor to questions from the audience.
Mike Ingham MBE was the BBC’s Chief Football Correspondent for almost a quarter of a century.His broadcasting experiences saw him attend eight World Cups, commentate on 28 FA Cup Finals, work with ten full-time England managers and introduce Sports Report.
Mike will be joined by special guest Ian Stonebridge who will need no introduction Argyle fans. Ian, now an academic and lecturer at Plymouth Marjon University, is an Argyle legend who is now a regular expert summariser for Argyle TV.
Copies of Mike’s book After Extra Time and Penalties will be available for purchase and signing with all profits benefiting the Argyle Archive. There will also be a raffle with Argyle prizes.
