"Thank you to the fans for all the support, all through the season," said Niall.
"At one point I was waiting for a scan result, and I thought my season was done. To come back and play a part in us getting promotion, I couldn't have asked for a better end to the season.
"Before the game, the gaffer said 'be the hero' - after the game, he hugged me and said: 'now you are the hero!'
"We've got one more game left, hopefully I can get a goal that helps us to another win - and the title."
