Emirates FA Cup Draw Information
Argyle will find out their Emirates FA Cup Round One opponents on Monday night, 17 October.
The draw for the first round will be screened on BBC Two from 7pm, and will also be streamed on official Emirates FA Cup Twitter and Facebook channels.
The Pilgrims go into the draw as the highest ranked team in the competition at this stage, and have been assigned ball number 35.
The first-round ties will take place on the weekend of Saturday, 5 and Sunday, 6 November.
Last season, Argyle were paired with Sheffield Wednesday in Round One, drawing 0-0 at Hillsborough then winning a replay 3-0 at Home Park.
Round Two saw Argyle win 2-1 away at Rochdale and then, in the third round, the Greens got past Birmingham City, winning after extra time through a Ryan Law goal.
Round Four saw a memorable trip to reigning European champions Chelsea, with Argyle taking the lead via Macaulay Gillesphey’s header in the early stages. The game would finish 1-1 after 90 minutes, with Chelsea winning 2-1 after extra-time, but Argyle came so close to a mighty upset.
