Date set for Cheltenham Carabao Cup tie

Argyle’s Carabao Cup first round tie at home to Cheltenham Town will take place on Wednesday, 14 August, at 7.45pm. 

For the first time ever, all Carabao Cup matches this season will be available for fans in the UK to watch on Sky Sports – with ours being broadcast on Sky Sports+. 

The last time we played the Robins was also in a cup tie, at Home Park. It was the semi-final of the 2022/23 Papa John's Trophy - a game that finished 1-1, before Argyle won on penalties.  

In last season's competition, Argyle beat Leyton Orient 2-0 in the first round, before losing 4-2 to Crystal Palace in the second.
