1.25pm update

The pitch has passed inspection. The game will kick off at 3pm as planned.

12.30pm update

The referee has conducted an initial assessment, and has indicated willingness to play the fixture this afternoon. He will conduct a final inspection at 1.25pm today - and has subsequently requested that turnstile opening is delayed until 1.30pm.

Initial update: 10am

Following early morning removal of frost covers and an assessment of the Home Park playing surface, we can issue the following update:

The situation has improved overnight.

Vast sections of the surface are playable, a few problem areas are being heat treated, and the weather is with us. We remain optimistic that the fixture will go ahead.

A further update will be provided once the match official arrives and inspects the pitch, though no formal pitch inspection has been called at this stage. All parties are keen to allow the fixture the greatest opportunity to be played.
