Choose Respect
Plymouth Argyle is delighted to support Kick it Out for tomorrow’s game against Swansea City, helping tackle any abuse or discrimination.
Now in their 30th year, Kick it Out is an organisation recognised by most fans and has helped change the cultural landscape of football to make it more welcoming and a safer space for all.
To mark the occasion, we will be launching our new campaign "Choose Respect." We ask our fans to, “Choose Respect” as Plymouth Argyle want to continue being a place that everyone and anyone can enjoy.
Positivity leads to a better game, a safer, healthier, more inclusive and more enjoyable game. A game with more respect.
Positivity always wins. That’s our passionate message for players and our fans. When we play and act positive, we play better, and we have a better experience.
As you navigate around the club this weekend, and beyond, you may spot new posters and signs that highlight several steps you can take to challenge discriminatory behaviour and identify who you can report any concerns to.
The best, quickest and most discrete way is to text ARGYLE + your message to 66777.
Being unkind is a choice. It is a choice of behaviour that can have a significant impact on someone’s life and should never be underestimated. It can affect both adults and children and there is no place for it at Plymouth Argyle.
Bullying behaviour doesn’t have to be tolerated, by choosing to be respectful we can work together to create a more positive atmosphere within our club among players, coaches, match officials and fans alike.
Thank you for choosing Argyle, thank you for choosing respect.
