Beacon Electrical to sponsor Mayflower Grandstand

Argyle are delighted to announce longstanding sponsor Beacon Electrical have furthered their commitment to the club which sees them take naming rights of the Mayflower Grandstand, becoming the latest organisation to join our expanding partnership portfolio.

The Mayflower Grandstand will now become ‘The Beacon Electrical Mayflower Grandstand’ with the Devon-based electrical brand lengthening their relationship with Argyle for a further five years. 

Beacon Electrical, a family run business, first sponsored the club in 1983 when they were the club’s first ever front of shirt sponsor and have appeared at Home Park in some capacity for 40 years ever since.

Argyle Head of Commercial James Greenacre is thrilled to see Beacon Electrical strengthen their commitment to the club and commented: “The relationship between the club and Beacon Electrical is one of incredible longevity.  

“It really showcases the value that both entities have provided each other over the years, and I am delighted that the Mayflower Stand will now become The Beacon Electrical Mayflower Grandstand.”

Greenacre continued: “Beacon Electrical are a family run business with the community at their heart which aligns perfectly with the values we live by every day at Argyle. It is an exciting time for the club as we head into the Sky Bet Championship for the first time since 2010, and it is great that Beacon have strengthened their partnership and really bought into what we are aiming to achieve.

Beacon Electrical is owned and run by passionate Argyle fans who will also use the partnership to engage with the Green Army and deliver an array of match day activities at Home Park throughout the season.
