Any not collected will be available from the Main Ticket Office located on the Main Stand from 1pm on Saturday.

Getting there - by road

Arriving by car

The Pirelli Stadium is located just off the A38. Exit the A38 at the Clay Mills junction and follow Derby Road (A5121) until you reach the second island. Take a right turn at the island and then right again into the car park.

 

From the M1 (Junction 24) via the A50

Exit the M1 at Junction 24 and follow the signs for the A50 (Stoke and Uttoxeter). Keep on this road, heading west until you reach the Toyota Island and the junction with the A38. Head south on the A38 (Burton and Birmingham) until you reach the first Burton turn off. Take this exit (A5121) and proceed along Derby Road, passing McDonald's and the Pirelli factory on your right and a BP Garage and Cash & Carry on your left until you reach a roundabout. Turn right at this roundabout into Princess Way and the entrance to the ground is 300 yards on your right.

From A38 North (Derby) and M1 North (Junction 28)

Exit the A38 at the first turning for Burton (North). Take this exit (A5121) and proceed along Derby Road, passing McDonald's and the Pirelli factory on your right and a BP Garage and Cash & Carry on your left until you reach a roundabout. Turn right at this roundabout into Princess Way and the entrance to the ground is 300 yards on your right.

From A38 South (Lichfield, Birmingham)

Take the second exit for Burton (North). Take this exit (A5121) and proceed along Derby Road, passing McDonald's and the Pirelli factory on your right and a BP Garage and Cash & Carry on your left until you reach a roundabout. Turn right at this roundabout into Princess Way and the entrance to the ground is 300 yards on your right.

From M1 South (Jct 22) - A511

From the M1, exit at Junction 22 (signposted Coalville, Ashby, Burton) and stay on the A511 You stay on this road for approximately 17 miles, by-passing Coalville and going through Ashby-De-La-Zouch, then Woodville and Midway (This area is littered with speed cameras - so beware!) When you enter Burton, get into the right hand lane at the bottom of Ashby Road (A511) going straight over the traffic lights and across the Trent Bridge. Staying in the right hand lane, go straight on through both sets of lights at the end of the Bridge, into Horninglow Street, straight on again at the next lights (next to the newly built Magistrates Courts), then turn right at the traffic lights underneath the Brewery fly-over, into Hawkins Lane. Go through the industrial estate, straight across the mini-roundabout and over the Railway Bridge, once over the Railway Bridge, you will come to a roundabout. Go straight across the roundabout into Princess Way and the entrance to the ground is 300 yards on your right.

From M42 Jct. 11 (West Mids) & M5 (South West) - A444

Leave the M 42 at its last exit Junction 11 (Just past Tamworth) and go onto the A444 signposted Burton. Stay on the A444 all the way to Burton, going through Overseal and Castle Gresley on the way. On entering Burton, go past the Black Horse and Copper Hearth pubs, straight across the mini-roundabout and you will come to a roundabout with St Peters Bridge in front of you. Turn right at the roundabout into Stapenhill Road (A444), which runs parallel to the River Trent, and then turn left at the traffic lights onto the Trent Bridge. Get into the right hand lane, go straight on through both sets of lights at the end of the Bridge, into Horninglow Street, straight on again at the next lights (next to the newly built Magistrates Courts), then turn right at the traffic lights underneath the Brewery fly-over, into Hawkins Lane. From M6 North Jct. 15 (A50 Uttoxeter, Stoke-On-Trent) - A511

Leave the Motorway at Junction 15, (Stoke-On-Trent South) and follow the signs for Uttoxeter (A50). Stay on this road ignoring the first sign for Burton and continuing along the A50 until you reach the Toyota Island. Come off the A50 here and follow signs for A38 (south). Travel on this road until you reach the first exit for Burton on Trent. Take this exit (A5121) and proceed along Derby Road, passing McDonald's and the Pirelli factory on your right and a BP Garage and Cash & Carry on your left until you reach a roundabout. Turn right at this roundabout into Princess Way and the entrance to the ground is 300 yards on your right.

Getting there - by public transport

Train Strikes

Due to a dispute with Network Rail, RMT signallers have announced their intention to take industrial action on Saturday 19 and Monday 21 November.

A normal service will be in operation throughout the day until late afternoon. From early evening there will be no train services between Banbury, Oxford, Reading and the South Coast, and between Cheltenham Spa, Bristol and the South West. Early morning trains on Tuesday 22 November will also be affected.

Customers with tickets dated Saturday 19 and Monday 21 November are advised to check ahead, tickets will be valid to use on an earlier service on the day, or a refund can be requested through the retail channel where the ticket was purchased from. Additionally, customers travelling on CrossCountry services on strike dates are also permitted to travel the following day.

Arriving | By Train

Railway Station, Borough Road, Burton

Burton Railway Station is situated half a mile West of the Town Centre, past the Breweries on Station Street, on Borough Road. Trains run regularly to and from Derby and Nottingham to the North, and Birmingham to the South. It is a 25-minute walk to the Pirelli Stadium from the Station.

Out of the station turn left, then next right into Derby Street. Keep going on this road about 1½ miles, straight across the first roundabout by the Derby Turn, then immediately left at the next roundabout into Princess Way and the entrance to the ground is 300 yards on your right.

By Bus from the Railway Station

The Trent Barton V1 and V2 bus service runs every half an hour from directly outside the railway station to the Pirelli Stadium. For further details and timetables please click on the Trent Barton link below.

Where to park

Parking

CAR PARKING*

Car parking is available at the Pirelli Stadium for 400 vehicles at a cost of £5 per vehicle. Supporters can also park in the Ryknild Industrial Estate for £5.

 Access to the site is from the Derby Road Island by taking the first exit and this is signposted on match days.

*Please note - parking cannot be pre-booked and is based on a first come, first served basis. Cash is collected on the day by the stewards on the main gate.

COACH PARKING**

Coach drivers will be met by a Burton Albion steward and given directions to the Claymills Pumping Station, Meadow Lane, Stretton, Burton upon Trent DE13 0DA. A map is provided for the driver. Coach drivers are asked to return 15-20 minutes prior to the end for the pickup and to park past the rear entrance of the club facing the direction of the A38 (Clay Mills).

There is a fee of £10 per coach and all the proceeds go to the Claymills Victorian Pumping Station which is a registered charity.

Entering the ground

Entering the Ground

The Pirelli Stadium provides both seating and a standing terrace for away supporters.

On entering the stadium, a search will be conducted as part of the Burton Albion Safety process. We kindly ask supporters not to bring any items that might slow down the search regime, including rucksacks and large bags.

Once inside the ground you will be directed by our stewards to either your seat or the standing terrace, dependant on which ticket you have purchased.

 If situated in the terrace you may be politely asked to move along to assist in maintaining gangway and entry point space for everybody’s safety.

We ask that all fans co-operate with instructions from the stewards which are for the safety and welfare of all supporters.

Under-3s are allowed in the seating area only at no extra charge, but must remain on their parent's lap. All supporters over the age of 3 will be required to purchase a matchday ticket. Under-5s are not permitted to watch the game from the terraces for their own safety.

We are unable to offer refunds to anyone who misses all or part of the game and advise away fans to arrive inside the stadium as early as possible (at least 30 minutes prior to kick-off). Turnstiles open 1 hour and 30 minutes before the game starts, with bar and refreshment facilities available and pre-match entertainment.

Food and drink

FOOD & DRINK

Refreshments are available in the away supporters’ concourses at the Pirelli Stadium.

There are bar and refreshment facilities within the away areas which offer a range of pies, burgers, hot dogs and the 'famous' Burton Albion faggots, chips and peas. Confectionery and both alcoholic and soft drinks are also available.

The bar also shows live Sky Sports football and are open from 13:30 for weekend games.

Cashless payments via card or NFC (such as Apple Pay) are encouraged inside the Pirelli Stadium. The nearest cash machine is located at the Co-op Food Store almost opposite to the car park entrance.

Head over to the 3G pitch at the Community Football Centre for all our Pre-Match Family Zone!

Billy and Bettie Brewer will be waiting to greet you and you can enjoy a kickabout with our two club mascots.

There will be fun and games and music to get you ready for the big game.

The family activities start 90 minutes before kick off at each home game and Brewers first team players make regular appearances.

WHEELCHAIR USERS

The club has a number of wheelchair bays available for away supporters. The away disabled wheelchair bays are situated in front of the East Terrace Stand.

Wheelchair users and ambulant supporters who are in receipt of medium to higher disability allowance (or enhanced PIP) are entitled to have a carer accompany them to the Pirelli Stadium free of charge. Tickets for disabled supporters can be purchased by contacting the visiting club. Proof of entitlement will be required when booking tickets from the visiting club. The club advises ambulant disabled supporters to purchase their match ticket in the seated stand on Row A where there are no steps required.

Disabled supporters who require additional assistance or access when entering the stadium can do so through the side gate, located next to the away turnstiles on the East Stand. They will be greeted by one of our stewards who will arrange to admit them with their match ticket.

ACCESSIBLE TOILETS

There are accessible toilets and facilities located in the East Stand for visiting supporters. These are clearly signposted but should you require assistance, please seek out advice from the nearest steward if access to a radar key or support is required.

DISABLED PARKING

There are a limited number of away disabled car parking spaces available at the Pirelli Stadium. Away supporters can book these in advance by calling 01283 565938 at a cost of just £5, payable on booking.

Booking disabled parking guarantees a space on the main car park, however there could still be a walk involved to get from the car park space to the relevant turnstiles. If a wheelchair space is required you can inform the club at the time of booking so we can ensure this is allocated, otherwise a normal space on the car park will be issued.

ASSISTANCE DOGS

Any supporter wishing to attend the Pirelli Stadium with an assistance dog needs to contact our Supporter Liaison Officer prior to the fixture to make arrangements.

Our serving counters are low level, adequate for wheelchair users. As a club we are dedicated to making your trip to our home an enjoyable experience

Foul and abusive language

FOUL AND ABUSIVE LANGUAGE

Any supporter who persistently uses expletives could face ejection or a ban from the stadium. Any supporter that becomes victim of any abuse can report it through the 'Kick It Out' app. The app can be downloaded on iPhone and Android devices.

Drums and flags

DRUMS AND FLAGS

Drum admission will only be accepted for official drums on a reciprocal basis with prior agreement with the Burton Albion Community Trust. Flags may be considered with prior agreement from our Safety Officer and any admitted flags will be subject to a fire test.
