Away Fans' Guide | Burnley (A)

Argyle travel to Lancashire tomorrow evening to face Burnley in a Sky Bet Championship encounter.

Head Coach Wayne Rooney will be looking for a first away win of the season after an excellent win last time out against Luton Town at Home Park.

Both Luton and Burnley were both in the Premier League last season and Argyle will be looking to replicate Friday's result against the Clarets.

Getting to Turf Moor

There will be road closures approximately two hours ahead of kick off.

BY CAR:
From the East:

J11

M65

Exit M65 at junction 12 and follow signs to ‘Burnley North A682,’ over two roundabouts and into Colne Road. After 1.5 miles, turn left at the lights
into Casterton Avenue. After another half mile, go straight on at another roundabout, follow signs for ‘Rochdale A6114,’ into Eastern Avenue. After 1.5 miles, you will be on Belvedere Road and the stadium is there.

From the West:

Exit M65 motorway at junction 9 (Signposted Halifax A679) and turn right at the first roundabout, over the motorway. Go to the second roundabout and take a left, still following signs for Halifax and onto Accrington Road. After 3⁄4 of a mile, go right at the traffic lights into Rossendale Road. Follow for another 1.5 miles and then go straight on through the traffic lights into Glen View Road. After another mile, turn left into Todmorden Road, where you will find Turf Moor at the foot of the hill.

From the North and South:

Exit M6 at Junction 29 and onto the M65. Exit the M65 at junction 10 and follow signs for ‘Towneley Hall.’ This road eventually goes past Turf Moor.

BY TRAIN:

The nearest station is Burnley Manchester Road. From here, exit the station and walk down Centenary Way. When you reach the roundabout at the end of the road, turn right onto Yorkshire Street, which becomes Harry Potts Way. The ground is on your left hand side.

From Burnley Central, follow signs for the town centre and then head left towards the ‘Gala’ Bingo Hall. From here, walk down Yorkshire Street and use instructions from above.

BY BUS:

The Bus Station is situated relatively close to the ground, just off Centenary
Way. Leave the station and head towards the Gala Bingo Hall opposite. Use the underground footpath and then head under the aqueduct onto Yorkshire Street and follow the instructions from above.

Parking

Most of the surrounding streets have parking restrictions on a matchday (Saturday and Tuesday).

Advantage: Close to stadium, new car park, secure, well lit. 4 minute walk from stadium.

Aircelle Ltd, Bancroft Ave, BB10 2TQ.

Capacity: 275 cars
Advantage: Away from city centre traffic, close to motorway after the game ahead of traffic flow.
15 minute walk or hop on local bus (3 minute journey).

Advantage: Close to the ground, 2 minute walk.

Cash machines

There are no cash points available in the ground however, if you do require cash, there is a cash point located at Lyndhurst Road situated a couple of blocks away from the club and one situated opposite the Turf Pub on Yorkshire Street. Card payments are accepted at the club shop, tickets office and all concourse kiosks around the stadium

Stadium entry

Entry to turnstiles will open at 6:15pm for both home and visiting supporters. Please bring photo ID with you as this may be checked as part of Burnley's standard ticketing policy.

For your safety, Burnley have increased search measures around the club on matchdays therefore it may take longer to enter the stadium. Supporters are encouraged to arrive in good time ahead of kick-off for extra bag checks at the turnstiles.

Food and Drink

Food and beverages are available on all concourses. Burnley will only be accepting cashless methods of payment.

Alcohol-free lager and cider will also be served in all concourses and hospitality areas.

Fan Behaviour

If you hear, witness or experience discriminatory behaviour at Turf Moor, text 'Report' to 62277, texts are free and will remain anonymous. You can also approach your nearest steward or make a report via the Kick it Out dedicated app.

Burnley Football Club is One Club for All. Both clubs do not tolerate hate speech or discrimination in any form; it is a criminal offence and will be dealt with severely.

We urge supporters who experience or witness any discriminatory language or behaviour to report it urgently - it is not welcome.

Offensive chanting

We are aware of incidents of offensive chanting at football matches, chanting which can have a negative affect on supporters.

Those found to be responsible for offensive chanting will be ejected from the stadium and maybe arrested. There is no place for this behaviour in our game.

Luggage drop off point

Luggage drop off point:

  • Luggage at Turf Moor can be stored in a secure area inside the Rapidz Fan Zone, near the Lottery Office.
  • Stewards will need to search every bag that is dropped, tag it and issue a receipt number. Please keep hold of your tag to collect your luggage.
  • Stewards will be available at the end of the game to return luggage to supporters.
  • Burnley FC accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to property stored within this area.
Earlier match arrival

Burnley encourage supporters to arrive earlier than usual in order to attend the match on time and to allow adequate time for their search measures.

Supporters arriving less than 20 minutes before kick-off are not guaranteed to be in their seats before kick-off, particularly due to the additional spot checks taking place.
