ATS Sponsors Papa Johns Shirts at Swindon
Argyle’s lofty ambitions in this season’s Papa Johns Trophy competition are matched in
altitude by the shirt sleeve sponsor for Tuesday night’s Group E match at Swindon Town.
Aircraft Transport Services (ATS) will adorn the Pilgrims’ away kit for the second match of
the competition’s round robin stage, following in the footsteps of Redball Ventures,
who sponsored the Greens’ Papa Johns Trophy penalty shoot-out victory against Bristol
Rovers.
ATS is the world’s market leader in medical transportation by air. Since the company was
founded in 1991, ATS has handled over 7,000 air ambulances, organ procurement, and
medical charter flights across hundreds of countries spanning the entire globe.
Michael Keister, a senior figure in ATS, is a member of Argyle Green LLC, the United States-
based group that invested £4m into Argyle for a 20 per cent ownership stake in the club.
Keister has over 20 years of aviation experience, specialising in air charter, aircraft sales, air ambulance, and organ procurement.
Susan Lewis, President of ATS, said: "Aircraft Transport Services is thrilled to be able to
support Plymouth Argyle. To witness these young players wear our brand is an honour.
“We sincerely hope our assistance to the club is profound, and we wish them the best of luck
for this game and the rest of the season. Go Argyle!"
Argyle’s Head of Commercial Operations, James Greenacre, said: “We are delighted to
welcome Aircraft Transport Services to the club as part of our Papa Johns Trophy journey.
“Commercial partners are vital as we look to achieve our ambitions across all competitions,
and to have another shirt sleeve sponsor for the fixture against Swindon Town is a huge
boost.
“We thank ATS for their support of the club, and hope we can secure an important win while
wearing their logo proudly on our shirts.”
