Argyle Women v Nottingham Forest to Take Place at Home Park

Argyle Women will return to Home Park as they play Nottingham Forest in the fourth round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup.

The game will take place at the Theatre of Greens on Sunday, 14 January. Kick-off will be at 1pm.

Argyle beat Ilminster 13-0 in the opening round, then beat AFC Stoneham 4-2 in round two. In the third round, an epic encounter with Oxford United saw Argyle equalise in injury-time to make it 1-1, then exchange goals in extra-time to take the game to a penalty shoot-out, which Argyle won.

Forest play in the National League North, which is at the third tier of English women’s football. Argyle play in the southern equivalent league. Forest are third in the league with six wins and three defeats from their nine league games.

"I'm really pleased that we are coming back to Home Park to play Nottingham Forest," said Argyle manager Ryan Perks. "It is another opportunity for us to play in front of a big crowd, in a fantastic stadium. The players all look forward to those occasions, and the backing of the supporters really lifts them. 

"We are pleased to have got to the fourth round of the cup. Cup runs are always exciting, for players and for fans. The Green Army turned out in great numbers for our game at Home Park earlier in the season, and it would be great to see them all when Forest visit us."

Tickets, priced at just £7 for adults, £5 for over-65s and £3 for under-18s, are on sale now at the Home Park Ticket Office and online here.

General match tickets are for unreserved seating within the Beacon Electrical Mayflower Grandstand, hospitality seats are reserved, padded seating.
