Argyle Women to Play at Home Park

Two of Argyle Women’s upcoming FA Women’s National League fixtures will be held at Home Park as the club continues in its commitment to support growth of the women’s game.

Ryan Perks’ side will host Ipswich Town Women on Sunday, 20 November, for a 2pm kick off at Home Park, before welcoming newly-promoted Cheltenham Town Ladies on Sunday, 8 January, at 2pm.

Tickets for the first of the two fixtures are on sale now at the Home Park Ticket Office and argyletickets.com, while tickets are also available for the Pilgrims’ upcoming home league fixtures at their regular home of the Manadon Sports Hub.

After a slow start to the 22/23 campaign, Argyle Women have shown strong signs of improvement in recent fixtures. The first league win of the season against Crawley Wasps last weekend was followed up with a thumping 5-1 win over AFC St Austell at Poltair Park on Sunday, seeing Argyle safely through in the FA Women’s National League Cup.

Argyle Women manager Ryan Perks said: “It will be great to have the opportunity to play at Home Park again this season, we are thankful to the club for their continued support of the Women’s team.

“With continued growth of the female game, especially after the success of the Lionesses in the summer, it would be great to see as many Argyle fans in the stadium as possible.

“Crowds at Women’s Super League level have reached record levels over the last few weeks, and it would be amazing if the Green Army can get behind their Women's team, pack out Home Park, and show their support for our growing sport.

“The players are excited to be able to walk out at Home Park and showcase their talents again.”
