Argyle v Accrington Stanley Highlights & Reaction

Argyle cemented their status at the top of Sky Bet League One with a confident, if occasionally fractious, win over Accrington Stanley. 

Niall Ennis opened the scoring with a low strike on the run but the afternoon changed numerically when Dan Scarr and Accrington skipper Seamus Conneely were both dismissed after a 50-50 challenge. 

The different dimension to the game didn’t adversely impact the Pilgrims and the points were sealed by an emphatic finish from Sam Cosgrove on 63 minutes. Substitute Ryan Hardie provided one final moment of joy, slotting a confident finish into the bottom corner in stoppage time.
