Argyle TV | What's on this Week
Another week, another set of fresh features from Argyle TV.
On Monday, Matchday Moments brings us an alternative look at all the action from Burton, where Argyle came within seconds of securing their first ever win at the Pirelli Stadium. In addition, we look ahead to Tuesday evening’s Papa Johns Trophy second round tie against Charlton Athletic, with manager Steven Schumacher and Mickel Miller, on his return from injury, sharing their thoughts on the clash with the Addicks.
On Tuesday afternoon, to whet your appetite ahead of the game, Academy graduate goalkeeper Mike Cooper talks us through his five-a-side selection, before live streaming of the Papa Johns Trophy tie at Home Park begins just before kick off. Match passes are available now, worldwide, for £10. Click here to purchase yours.
After the game, manager Steven Schumacher and selected first team players will react to the fixture, while subscribers can also enjoy extended highlights and the full match replay from the early hours of Wednesday morning.
On Thursday, with no men’s first-team fixture to look ahead to this weekend, our focus is on the Academy and Women’s teams, with Darren Way and Ryan Perks previewing fixtures against Swindon Town in the EFL Youth Alliance and in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup, respectively. We’re not totally without first-team representation on Thursday, though, as later that evening Scottish striker Ryan Hardie talks Teammates.
On Friday, it’s time for something completely different. They may be close colleagues in the dug-out, but manager Steven Schumacher and his assistant Mark Hughes go head-to-head in a putting challenge at Paradise Island Adventure Golf in The Barcode. One of them keeps their cool to prevail, but you’ll have to watch to find out who wins.
On a rare weekend without first-team action, captain Joe Edwards assumes the prime time slot on Saturday evening, talking us through his Firsts, Bests, and Lasts at 7pm. On Sunday, September’s Sky Bet League One player of the month Morgan Whittaker takes his turn to dish the shine a light on the dressing room in the latest edition of Teammates.
