Argyle TV | What's On This Week
It’s another big week at Home Park, as a local derby at Bristol Rovers follows Tuesday night’s Papa Johns Trophy group finale against Crystal Palace under-21s.
It’s an equally busy week on Argyle TV, where subscribers have a feast of content to help them through the week.
Starting on Monday, Argyle manager Steven Schumacher and wing-back Conor Grant preview Tuesday night’s Papa Johns Trophy tie, in which a draw or better will guarantee the Greens’ safe passage to the knockout stages.
A little later that afternoon, the ever-popular Matchday Moments series takes us as close as possible to the celebrations as the Greens put Milton Keynes Dons to the sword at Stadium MK.
On Tuesday, to whet your appetite for the evening’s clash with the Eagles, EFL Young Player of the Month for September, Bali Mumba, talks us through his dream five-a-side team, selected from players he’s had the privilege of sharing a dressing room with. Is there room for any of his current teammates?
On Tuesday night, supporters around the world can stream our four-camera coverage of the Papa Johns Trophy fixture against Palace. Argyle enter the match top of the table by a point, but Palace can qualify with a win. The Athletic’s Richard Amofa hosts a free pre-match show from 6pm on our official YouTube channel, before live coverage with Charlie Price and former Argyle Women captain Katie Middleton begins before kick off at 7pm. Click here to purchase your match pass in advance of the game.
Post-match reaction with Steven Schumacher and selected members of the Argyle squad will follow closely after full time.
Premiering at 7pm on Wednesday, Hungarian former midfielder Akos Buzsaky, who joined us for a special video episode of The Argyle Podcast last week, answers the Green Army’s questions in an Ask Me Anything feature – including taking us through one of the finest own goals ever scored in Argyle colours with great humour.
On Thursday, focus is on Bristol Rovers. The division’s award-winning manager and player for Sky Bet League One in September, Steven Schumacher and Morgan Whittaker, will face the press ahead of the trip to the Memorial Stadium, in which Argyle will look to secure their 12th win in just 15 league games this season.
On Friday, the increasingly versatile Matt Butcher, who has operated as a left wing-back and central defender alongside his actual position of central midfield this season, will talk us through his Firsts, Bests, and Lasts.
On Saturday, international subscribers will be able to enjoy live video coverage of the Greens’ tie against the Gas, while domestic subscribers or audio match pass buyers can listen to live kick-by-kick commentary. Wherever you are in the world, you can join us live for our pre-match show from 2pm.
As always, Argyle TV subscribers can see the post-match reaction of manager Steven Schumacher and his players before anyone else, as well as enjoy extended highlights and the full match replay from the early hours of Sunday morning.
There has never been a better time to sign up to Argyle TV, for as little as £4.50 per month, and enjoy the raft of features and new content being produced daily at Home Park.
