Argyle TV: What's On This Week
This week’s Argyle TV schedule is now available for your perusal.
On Monday evening, Academy graduate Adam Randell shares the story of his promising career so far, including the incredible run in the FA Youth Cup which saw Argyle eliminate European giants Manchester City.
Involved in the club’s system since the under-11 age group, Randell has amassed an impressive 76 first-team appearances and counting, enjoying a breakthrough season on-loan at Devon neighbours Torquay United in 20/21.
On Tuesday, fresh from his 150th appearance in Green at the weekend, creative midfielder Danny Mayor talks us through his five-a-side team, made up of players he’s shared a dressing room with over a career that has also taken in spells at Preston North End, Sheffield Wednesday, Tranmere Rovers, Southend United and Bury.
Wednesday’s entertainment comes in the form of towering Dutch centre-back Nigel Lonwijk, who shares his Firsts, Bests and Lasts with the Argyle TV cameras.
The following day focuses firmly on the weekend’s football action, across the many age groups and teams of the Argyle family. To kick things off, first-team manager Steven Schumacher and Aston Villa loanee Finn Azaz speak ahead of Saturday’s tie against Charlton Athletic at Home Park.
Then, Argyle Women manager Ryan Perks speaks following a crucial week of action in the FA Women’s National League, where back-to-back wins over Bridgwater United and Cheltenham Town have elevated them out of the relegation zone. Can they make it a third away at Ipswich Town?
Darren Way will also provide an update from the Argyle Academy, whose Merit League campaign began with a gutsy 0-0 draw against Stevenage last weekend.
On Friday, Inside Training returns, with the Argyle TV cameras taking you behind the scenes at Harper’s Park as the Greens look to bounce back from a disappointing performance at Peterborough United.
On matchday, host Erin Black is joined by promotion-winning former Argyle full-back Brian McGlinchey to build up to the game on YouTube from 2pm, before live coverage begins just ahead of kick off.
Domestic subscribers can enjoy live commentary from Charlie Price and Argyle Women legend Katie Middleton, while overseas supporters will benefit from four-camera Argyle TV video coverage of the clash with the Addicks.
Post-match, manager Steven Schumacher and selected first-team players will give their reaction to the big game, before highlights, extended highlights and the full match replay become available in the hours that follow.
There has never been a better time to sign up to Argyle TV, for as little as £4.50 per month, and enjoy the raft of features and new content being produced daily at Home Park.
