Argyle TV: What's On This Week
With another home sell-out already confirmed for the Sky Bet League One visit of Portsmouth on Saturday, this week’s Argyle TV schedule has plenty to get you ready for another big game at Home Park.
Speaking of big games, Monday afternoon looks back to the Greens’ narrow 1-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in front of the division’s largest crowd of the season. Over 3,700 members of the Green Army made the Pilgrimage to Hillsborough as Argyle fought to set a club record 13 consecutive league away games unbeaten, but a Callum Paterson strike sealed it for the Owls.
On Tuesday, no.10 Danny Mayor talks Argyle TV through his Firsts, Bests, and Lasts. Which iconic match from recent Argyle history does the skilful midfielder rank as the best moment of his career?
On Wednesday evening, striker Sam Cosgrove shares his Story so Far with us, talking us through the highs and lows of a professional career which has included spells at Everton and Wigan Athletic as a junior, becoming one of the most prolific strikers in Scotland and playing European football with Aberdeen, before a big money move to Birmingham City. In a nomadic career which has included seven loan spells, his temporary move to Home Park has surely been the most successful to date.
On Thursday, focus is firmly back on competitive matters. Skipper Joe Edwards faces the cameras ahead of the visit of Pompey at the weekend, before manager Steven Schumacher assumes media duties. We will also hear from Argyle Women manager Ryan Perks following his side’s last-gasp victory over London Bees at the weekend, and Academy boss Darren Way, whose side sit top of the EFL Youth Alliance table with just two more fixtures to play.
On the eve of the match, Friday evening’s viewing comes straight from Harper’s Park, where the Greens apply the final preparations for Portsmouth in Inside Training.
