Argyle TV | What's On This Week
It’s a double gameweek this week, which means even more Argyle content to feast on in the build up to Christmas.
The Greens host Sky Bet League Two side AFC Wimbledon in the Papa Johns Trophy round of 16 on Tuesday night, before Morecambe, managed by former Argyle boss Derek Adams, visit Home Park on Saturday in Sky Bet League One action.
Both fixtures are available to stream live and worldwide on Argyle TV, and we’ve got previews, reaction and highlights from both fixtures to come, as well as a whole host of fresh features to enjoy from behind the scenes in PL2.
On Monday afternoon, Argyle manager Steven Schumacher previews the Pilgrims’ Papa Johns Trophy tie against the Dons. Later that evening, Matchday Moments brings you an alternative angle of the action at the Abbey Stadium, where the Greens ground out a hard-earned goalless draw with Cambridge United in freezing temperatures.
On Tuesday afternoon, ahead of kick off against AFC Wimbledon, we catch up with Luke Jephcott, who is enjoying plenty of football during his loan spell at Sky Bet League Two promotion hopefuls Swindon Town – where he has contributed five goals and one assist in his 14 appearances for the Robins since his deadline day loan move.
At 6pm that evening, our free to view pre-match show goes live on YouTube, with Erin Black looking ahead to kick off with promotion-winning former Argyle full-back Brian McGlinchey. At 7pm, play gets underway, and supporters unable to make it to Home Park can stream the fixture live for £10 in both domestic and overseas territories. Argyle manager Steven Schumacher and selected first team players will react to the tie against the Dons first on Argyle TV, shortly after full time.
On Wednesday, Argyle TV subscribers enjoy access to extended highlights and the full match replay from Tuesday night, as well as an exclusive feature with Academy graduate Adam Randell, who shares insights from the dressing room in the latest edition of Teammates.
On Thursday, manager Steven Schumacher and striker Sam Cosgrove will look ahead to the weekend’s clash with Morecambe at Home Park, while we also hear from Argyle Women manager Ryan Perks following their brave exit in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup in the third round stage at Oxford United. Goalkeeper Mike Cooper, enjoying another stellar season between the sticks for the club he’s been with since he was nine years old, talks his Firsts, Bests, and Lasts later on Thursday evening.
On Friday, the Greens’ leading goalscorer, Ryan Hardie, takes us through his Story So Far, sharing his journey from Stranraer to Devon, via Ibrox and his boyhood club Rangers, and making Plymouth his family home following two loan spells with the Greens.
On Saturday, focus returns to league football at Home Park, starting with a pre-match show at 2pm on the club’s YouTube channel. Erin Black will get the thoughts of Brian McGlinchey and former Premier League defender Marc Edworthy ahead of the Pilgrims’ tie against Morecambe.
The match will be available to stream live and worldwide, with four-camera coverage and live commentary, on Argyle TV for £10.
Post-match, Argyle manager Steven Schumacher and selected first team players will conduct media duties, giving their reaction to the day’s play to Argyle TV first. Subscribers can enjoy extended highlights and the full match replay from the early hours of Sunday morning.
There has never been a better time to sign up to Argyle TV, for as little as £4.50 per month, and enjoy the raft of features and new content being produced daily at Home Park.
